APE are authorised by the D.O.T to install GVM upgrades.
Currently we install both Lovell and EFS GVM Upgrades. Many customers are not aware that they may be breaking the law and unknowingly are running over weight. The Police and Transport inspectors are very much alive and well not just in the state of WA but through out the whole of Western Australia.
The usable payload of many 4X4 vehicles today is minimal. Additional basic optional equipment and two or three adult male occupants will bring the vehicle close to its legal maximum weight (GVM) in many cases. Add long range fuel tanks, bull bars, winches, side steps, roof racks, recovery gear and a payload of camping equipment or an industrial type custom body and the vehicle will ultimately exceed the Original Equipment allowable Gross Vehicle Mass.
Original Equipment suspension is designed for comfort above all other considerations, thus load carrying and performance can be compromised. APE supply and install suspension systems with matched components for the ultimate in performance, load carrying, and handling.
At APE Suspension we take all the headache for you as with the costs of each Upgrade we include: vehicle modification permits, supply, fitment, wheel alignment, presentation and costs for complete pit inspection. When you collect your completed vehicle all you need do is present your paperwork to your local rego office, pay nothing further and the job is complete! Simple.
For further information please call us or better still come by the shop with your vehicle for an informal discussion. The subject can be full on and confusing, we are here to help and provide you with the best advice and ultimately the best GVM Upgraded installation.
