These bushes are required for anyone raising the height of their 4×4 Patrol or Toyota 80 or 100 solid axle series .  When a 4×4 is raised the castor angles of the king pins are altered. The bushes are designed as offset and when pressed into the leading arms will adjust the offset castor angle back to where it should be.

We are often asked if they are necessary? Well, if they are not fitted then castor angles will be out and may cause a vagueness and may make the vehicle pull or steer irrationally, quite frightening at speed!
